I am sure the majority of us have heard the following expression, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he”?
Well, I am here to say that this statement bears ‘no truth’; considering it is not what a man thinketh in his heart; it’s what a man “thinketh upon” in his mind, so is he!
Our lives are built from our thoughts that are soldered into our minds. The majority of our thoughts are misguided and exploited by the arguable information that is stored within our subconscious minds.
The vast majority of our thoughts, on a daily basis, are thoughts that are based upon inconclusive man-made beliefs. These thoughts are incoherent or ‘subconscious thoughts’, which translate to living a life of uncertainty.
Although our heart is a physical organ which is designed to make us feel glorious, it’s our incoherent thoughts that ‘linger’ upon our man-made beliefs that make our heart stimulate anguish.
Therefore, as we proceed through life unfocused, this lack of coherency plagues us with uncertainty. Hence Jesus’ expression, “Forgive them Father for they know not what they do” (Luke 23:34).
This ultimately means if we change the direction of what we dwell upon most, we will in turn change how our heart makes us feel. Thus, in most cases, the life we live is not the life our ‘Hearts’ truly desire; but often the life our ‘Minds’ make us unknowingly worry about.
Here’s the ultimate question: Why does Man preach and make us believe that our hearts, which have been designed for Good (God) are actually evil?
